Oh wow! I recently started submitting articles to ezinearticles so this is really intriguing. I know I can handle one per day for 100 days. I may take you up on the challenge. I still have a day or two to think it over but it sounds good. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have been submitting articles to Ezinearticles for almost 4 years now. Most of the time it is for my clients. This year, with the contest, I am going to be doing it for myself and talking about the things that are important to me. It should be fun and rewarding.

Keep me posted. Let me know how you are doing; and thanks for the comment. It encourages me as well.

Hey, I’m in it for the limited edition giant beach ball :) You can never have too many of those.

Personally, the coffee mug looks great! I already received one for reaching platinum status. Unfortunately, my son likes it as well. We need two!

Celeste,

I got busy. I will not get my new coffee mug. :( How are you doing? Are you going to get that beach ball? :)

I didn’t earn my beach ball either :( I’d say I probably did about 25 articles combined (for me and a client). I know article marketing is valuable but it’s hard to find time for it when I have paying articles to write first. Still, it was a good exercise and I’m planning on making ezinearticles more of a priority.

Celeste,

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I am the same way. I have a client that has me doing a lot more of the back end stuff. I am learning html and CSS code to implement all of the changes and additions she wants. Plus, I am doing a lot of the extra little odds and end to help her set up more of a marketing and coaching business. She pays me an hourly wage, and lets me learn on her dime, because I am a LOT cheaper than a professional programmer, so it is something different.

I would love for you to read the latest blog and make a comment. I would like you take on the pay scale I found. If you are getting those kind of wages, me and the other readers want to know your secret. I also want readers to know the reality of freelancing today. Some people have the mistaken impression we don’t have to work very hard! :)
